In this mini webinar we will go through the DSM criteria and discuss the many ways that this criteria can look in an individual, focusing on moving past stereotypes and seeing the behaviors and traits that often get overlooked.
As the DSM criteria was mostly written by and for white males, we will discuss how this criteria might look in different demographics, across cultures, and in different individuals who may not see themselves directly in the criteria.
This is NOT in any way a diagnosis, I am not a doctor or a therapist, however this can help you prepare for a diagnostic assessment by giving you an understanding of what may be relevant to share with your doctor.
This is a neurodivergent-friendly course, meaning you are welcome to participate or not, you can multitask or fidget, take breaks when you need them, and pets are welcome. It is also live captioned if you choose.
This will be recorded so you can watch it later. It will be recorded on "speaker view," so if you do not speak out loud you will not be recorded. You are welcome to participate in the chat. It will be sold later as a "pre-recorded" course.
Please sign up with the email address you want the links and resources to be sent to. Your event ticket will have the links attatched to the email.
This course is free, but if you choose to donate that money will go to creating access for others to participate in my paid events. I thank you for yuor generosity.
I hope to see you there!
