Autistic-Allistic Communication Basics (For Allistics): With AuDHD Coach Lindsay

This 4 hour course, taught by AuDHD Coach Lindsay (the autistic) and ADHD Coach Sheila (the allistic) focuses on enhancing communication skills for autistic individuals, exploring the nuances of autistic-allistic interactions.

We will cover key concepts such as the differences in cognitive processing styles, the importance of recognizing and adapting to autistic communication patterns, and practical strategies for improving mutual understanding. Participants will engage in interactive discussions and activities designed to foster empathy and enhance their ability to communicate effectively with autistic peers in both personal and professional contexts.

No formal diagnosis is required.

This is a neurodivergent-friendly course, meaning you are welcome to participate as much or as little as you’d like in any given session, you can multitask or fidget, take breaks when you need them, and pets are welcome. It is also live captioned.  Sessions are also recorded in case you are late or have to miss a session, or you need a review.
